Info + Care

All pieces are handcrafted by Laura in Melbourne - Wurundjeri Country. Traditional gold and silversmithing techniques ensure every piece is made to last.

Each piece, material, and process is carefully considered to ensure both quality and sustainability. Recycled metals, ethically sourced or lab-created gems, and locally based suppliers are prioritised whenever possible.

Below you’ll find care tips to help preserve your jewellery. With mindful wear, regular cleaning, and repair when needed, your piece can be treasured for generations. Treat your treasures with love, and they will love you back.

JEWELLERY CARE

General Care

To maintain the longevity of your jewellery, avoid wearing it while doing things like washing dishes, doing laundry or bathing. It’s best to steer clear of contact with perfume, hairspray, hand cream or sunscreen while wearing your piece.

Unless stated otherwise, most pieces are waterproof, however following these guidelines will help maintain their shine and endurance. When not in use, store your jewellery safely in its original box.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver naturally oxidises over time. Daily wear is fine, but prolonged exposure to air, water, sweat, chlorine, and other chemicals may reduce its shine. Clean gently with warm water, a drop of mild dishwashing soap, and a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly and dry. Regular polishing with a silver cloth will help maintain its lustre.

Gold

Solid gold is durable and resistant to tarnish. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive materials to keep your piece bright.

Gold (Plated)

Gold-plated pieces require extra care to maintain their finish. Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes, and chemicals, and gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Over time, the plating may naturally wear, but careful handling will extend its life.

Pearls

Pearls are delicate and should not be exposed to baking soda, vinegar, harsh chemicals, or bleach. For visible stains, wipe gently with a soft cloth dipped in lukewarm water and mild soap. Store pearls separately from other jewellery to avoid scratches.

Repairs

If the jewellery is faulty we will happily repair it free of charge, provided the issue is due to a manufacturing fault. This does not cover wear and tear, accidental damage, or cases where care instructions haven’t been followed. If it has been more than a year since you purchased your piece, there will be a small fee for repairs
